Rakers Construction is a great company to work with. I have a mountain cabin near Pisgah. Living in a forest is good for the soul but, carpenter bees and woodpeckers were destroying the fascia and soffits on my cabin. I was so happy to get a recommendation to call Rakers Construction. They responded quickly and got back to me with an estimate. They did an excellent job. We decided to use Hardie board to prevent future damage. They were always on time, polite and professional. The Raker’s crew that worked on my house were skilled craftsmen with an eye for detail and helpful suggestions! Everyone from the owner, the lady in the office, the estimator, the project manager and the crew were wonderful to work with. I will definitely call them again in the future.

My family has owned construction companies for 3 generations. Though not my chosen career I built my own house from concrete footings to finish carpentry. I know quality construction when I see it. Without a doubt Rakers Home Exterior Pros from the owner, his 2 brothers and including their whole talented crew are the finest construction professionals we have ever had work on any of our properties. Their skill level, workmanship, mastery of construction techniques was amazing to witness. There is nothing they can’t do. But there are other things about this company and employees that are equally confidence building.
Given my construction background I thought I had figured out exactly how our project needed to be done . . . that is until they asked us some politely put questions, listened to us and then made several suggestion that made real practical as well as esthetic sense. The end result is a finished job that exceeds our fondest hope. These are very intelligent people.
There is another reason this company is so pleasurable to work with. They are also personable, truly decent people who are respectful of homeowners, courteous, and take great care with your property. That begins with how they set up their equipment and supplies, to how they leave the worksite every day to the condition they leave your home when they are done. Everything is cleared away. There is no trash left for you to clean up. Truthfully we miss having them here.

We hired Rakers to completely remodel our vacation home. As you can imagine there are a lot of challenges being that we are not there! Alistear and his team were amazing! They stayed in constant contact, sent videos and pics, answered questions quickly, resolved issues, met subcontractors for us for work outside the scope of our contract. I have no hesitation in recommending them at all!!!

This company was really easy to work with. Some fascia had come off the house during Helene. I was referred to them by a neighbor in the construction business. They got right back to me and came to inspect the damage. I asked them to first take care of other folks who had more extensive damage from Helene, and we agreed. Not much longer the two brothers came and performed the work. And it was really, really cold on that day, and the necessary work was very high up. They were jovial and professional and did a great job. I would definitely recommend them and will hire them again for future work.
Bar none, Roger Camacho is the best home repair expert we have ever dealt with. Roger and his team repaired our front porch, which was literally ready to fall down, and he repaired the hardwood flooring in our kitchen under the refrigerator. Roger was concerned about not being able to match the 10+ year old floor that was in the kitchen, so he suggested creating a picture frame around the new wood flooring. The result was spectacular and I am kind of hoping that I need to repair the floor under the other appliances (stove, dish washer) so that Roger can come back and picture frame the rest of them. No doubt, Roger is our go to guy for serious home repair work. Best of luck Roger, your services are very much appreciated.
